Meditation (Eric P)

I am a Buddhist so I meditate.

Here are 5 easy steps to learn how,

  1. Find a spot where you are comfortable and on the edge of something above ground level E.G couch.
  2. Imagine swirling water or other satisfying thoughts and focus hard on them.
  3. Slowly close your eyes, still focusing.
  4. Breath in and count to three, then breath out.
  5. Repeat.

Try this at home, it helps me focus, calm down and get to sleep.

Thanks for posting this, Eric. It is really interesting to hear about your meditation.

Out of interest, why do you sit at the edge of something? Does this make meditating easier?

  3.   Eric Says:

I sit at the edge of something because it keeps me upright, gives me a sense of balance, makes me feel like I am floating ( I find this comforting ) and I also have very fond memories of being on the edge of high places like when i sat on top of snowdon or lay over the edge of pulpit rocks famous shear drop in Norway. :p
