Doctor Who 2018 companions. (By Lenny)

October 26, 2017

There are going to be three companions which means four people in the Tardis. Is this good or are you worried it may be a little packed? Here is a link as I could not get a picture embedded on this post.

These are my thoughts on 2018’s Doctor Who companions. I think they look like they would do well as Bradley Walsh, the middle aged man, is ,in my opinion , pretty funny and I would like to see him along side the Doctor. The others I have not seen much of but I think they were both in a TV show called Hollyoaks. I can not wait to see the four in action in 2018 and also Jodie Whittaker will be getting a new sonic and Tardis so that’s exciting. I am not sure what to expect from Chris Chibnall even though he directed 5 Doctor Who episodes in the past. I can’t wait to see Jodie’s new title sequence and will they fit all 4 names????? Any way that’s all from me. Please feel free to see my other posts and I’ll try make a post a week or a day if I’m lucky. Anyhow, bye

My Biography on the all mighty Matt Smith (by Lenny)

October 26, 2017

Matt Smith, best known for playing the Doctor in BBC’s hit TV show Doctor Who, is a very talented as an actor. Matthew Robert Smith (that is his full name) has not only been in Doctor Who but also the Crown and many others. He was born on 28th October 1982 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom.

Matt got his education at Northampton School for boys and later became an actor. At the age of 26 he got the role as the Doctor playing for 3 seasons and then leaving in 2013 in an episode named the time of the Doctor. Then, later on, he played Prince Philip In Netflix’s most expensive TV show the Crown. On the other hand, Karen Gillan ,the Doctors Companion, got a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1/2 as Nebula and is getting a new role in Jumanji 2. Matt is having a very successful career and I hope we see him in the future.

There is a rumour that he may return in the 2017 Christmas special Twice upon a time as it is Steven Moffat last episode and Steve worked with Matt so it would make sense to bring him back for a surprise. It would be nice but it is only a RUMOUR!!

At this very moment I do not know if Matt is going to be in a show for 2018 or for the rest of 2018.But now you have mastered to know all about Matt Smith!!!

Jeremy keeling (erin b)

October 20, 2017

born on February the sixth, 1964, jerry keeling (animal manager of monkey world) is 53 years old. he has an amazingly strong bond with monkeys and apes and even gets into enclosures with sometimes aggressive mammals which are 7 times stronger than him.

Jeremy had a traumatising childhood. When he was twelve, he was forced to live in a beaten up caravan where he had no friends or attention.

He left home at 18, troubled and traumatised by his childhood. then he started working at colchester zoo.  Jeremy had a close bond with guy and prissy, the two orang-utans.

he left colchester zoo and began working at Gordan zoo, where little amy,the baby orang-utan, was born. her birth was trouble free, however, she was poorly afterwards as her mother rejected her at such a young age. Jeremy hand reared her, borrowing an incubator from a hospital and force feeding her milk every two hours.

a year later, Jeremy was in a car crash with his son, Jamie and his girlfriend, Meryl. Meryl didn’t suffer any injuries, Jeremy was unconscious, with terrible head wounds. Amy also suffered head wounds, but was not uncounsios. She saved Jeremys life , as she cradled his head and applied pressure with her hand to the back of his head to stop the bleeding.

soon after that, Jeremy wrote a heartwarming aughtobiography called. ‘the orang-utan who saved my life’

emery currently works in monkey world i dorset, as an animal manager.

. Orangutans have 32 teeth, the same as i Humans. Humans share a common ancestor with orang-utans that existed 12-15 million years ago. The strength of Orangutans is 7 times greater than Human strength.

Orang-utans are ver well camouflaged in rainforests because very little sunlight that filters through the canopy layer reflects green light and absorbs the orange light that is similar to the colour of the Orangutan’s hair.

Orangutans can travel anywhere from 50 meters to 1,000 meters in one day normally they are lazy and like to chill out in their nests.

Over 50% of an Orangutan’s diet is made up of fruit because it is easy to find where they live. Orangutans travel as far and as fast as they need to near their homes to find food. Although fruit is their main food source, Orangutans have been known to eat up to 400 different things! e.g.: nuts, sap leaves bugs. When the Orangutan is not spending time resting or sleeping during the day, they are foriging for food. Orang-utans are knowns as “Nutcracker Primates” which crack open hard-coated fruits to eat . In the wild, Orangutans have been intelligent by using leaves of trees to protect their hands when handling fruit covered in sharp spikes

here is a video of an orang-utan that i found.

Doctor Who THE NEW WOMEN – By Lenny

October 10, 2017

The new Doctor, Jodie Wittacker , is now a women.(As if she was not a women before) Now I don’t have a problem with a women I just hope that they don’t do anything stupid with the character just because it’s now a women. For example making her wear a skirt or a dress because the doctor is still going to have that boyish personality.(I hope) Any way with that being said this is the clip of her as the doctor. (the tardis looks fake)

Wave Me Goodbye – A book review (Erin B)

September 28, 2017

Recently, I read wave me goodbye by Jacquline Wilson . It is about evacuees in world war 2. I am really interested in ww2 so I thought it would be up my street. However, I found it very boring and there was no plot or storyline. I ended up reading it all because I was waiting for a plot or an adventure, and if I had to describe this book in one word it would be disappointing .

Dunham Massey

September 24, 2017

It is our trip to Dunham Massey on Tuesday. It is always one of the highlights of the year so I am really looking forward to it.

If you haven’t brought your permission slip back, please bring it in as soon as possible.

On Tuesday, you will need:

  • A packed lunch (Victorian themed if possible). Bring this in a disposable bag with your name on. We will throw the bags away after lunch so you don’t have to be carrying a lunch box around.
  • A change of shoes (part of the day will be outside so a pair of wellies or boots would be sensible). Bring these in a plastic bag with your name on so you don’t lose them.
  • A coat / jacket in case it is raining or it is cold (we will be outside for some of the day).
  • A smile.
